Eol - detective, elven assassin
When most people think of elves they picture elegant, aesthetic creatures — scholars, diplomats, philosophers. Maybe pausing beneath an ancient oak tree to compose a little poetry or strum a melancholy tune upon a gilded lyre.
Then there's Eol.
You could describe Eol as "edgy" but what you'd really mean is he's a three pack a day adrenalin junkie with a deathwish the size of a bus. A brilliant swordsman, as long-lived as any elf, it's rumored he got his training in the east, running with a long-dead human warlord named Sipia. Whatever the truth, you get the feeling something's broken Eol apart and put him back together again the wrong way. If you look close enough you can almost see the demons that drive him writhing under his skin. But only one person gets that close and that's his friend Kamrauch and Kamrauch's not talking.
The only other person Eol could've called friend was the mage Chandra. Eol took it very personally when she was Taken and since then the last thing more than one vampire has ever seen is a pair of hard grey eyes and the glint of a silvered-knife sharp enough to shave a millimeter sliver off a stone buddha's backside.
Hunting down members of the local vampire elite is adangerous game but somehow Eol's managed to get away with it. So far.
